Synthesis of Single-Crystalline Octahedral Co3O4 with Solid-State Thermal Decomposition
In this paper, single crystalline octahedral Co3O4 with dimensions about 100–500 nm and smooth surface has been prepared by solid-state thermal decomposition of cobalt(II) Schiff base complex Co((3,4-MeO-ba)2 en)Cl2 as new precursor at 450ºC under air atmosphere for 3.5 h. Surface morphology of the products were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray powder ...
متن کاملHydrothermal synthesis of single-crystalline antimony telluride nanobelts.
The single-crystalline Sb2Te3 nanobelts were successfully synthesized by a novel and convenient surfactant-assisted hydrothermal approach. The ionic surfactant AOT acted as the shape controller in the synthetic process. We believe that this synthetic route could be applied to obtain other low-dimensional semiconducting telluride nanostructures.
متن کاملHydrothermal synthesis of monodisperse single-crystalline alpha-quartz nanospheres.
Uniformly-sized, single-crystal alpha-quartz nanospheres have been synthesized at 200 °C and 15 atm under continuous stirring starting from uniform, amorphous Stöber silica colloids and using NaCl and alkali hydroxide as mineralizers. Quartz nanosphere size is controlled by the colloid particle size via direct devitrification. Uniform, high-purity nanocrystalline quartz is important for underst...
متن کاملHydrothermal synthesis and magnetic properties of single-crystalline BiFeO3 nanowires.
One-dimensional, single-crystalline BiFeO(3) nanowires presenting a diameter of 45-200 nm and a length from hundreds of nanometres to several microns have been prepared using an improved hydrothermal method. The characterization results of ZFC and FC magnetizations at different temperatures indicate that single-crystalline BiFeO(3) nanowires show a spin-glass transition below the freezing tempe...
متن کاملSynthesis of Single Phase Tin(II) Oxide Nanoparticles by Microwave-Assisted Hydrothermal Technique
This paper presents a novel microwave-assisted hydrothermal technique for synthesizing tin(II) oxide nanoparticles. This technique can be used for producing large quantities of homogeneous nanoparticles in a short time. The effect of the solution molarity, final pH, hydrothermal processing time and microwave power were studied. The tin(II) oxide structure verified from XRD...
